Our regulatory status

Investcent Investment Bank is licensed by the Capital Markets Authority as a fund manager and investment bank under licence No. 187. The Retirement Benefits Authority registers us as a pension fund manager under registration RBA/A/14/048, and the Nairobi Securities Exchange admitted us as an Authorised Securities Dealer in its fixed income market in 2024.

Risk disclosures

Every investment carries risk. Please read these points before you invest:

  • The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest.
  • Past performance is not a guide to future performance, and returns are not guaranteed.
  • Fund yields change daily.
  • The special funds carry a 180-day lock-in, and each special fund investor must keep at least KES 100,000 invested.
  • The US dollar classes carry currency risk for investors who measure their wealth in Kenya shillings.
  • Bond prices move with interest rates, and selling a bond before it matures can return less than you paid.
  • The Investcent Hedge Fund carries a high level of risk and is open only to qualified investors by invitation.
